Sagemcom launches the RM50 Internet radio with a highly visual black design. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g, allowing for access to over 13000 of internet radio stations. The WiFi connectivity also allows music streaming from PCs or storage devices on the same home network.

The Sagemcom RM50 includes support for FM RDS radio as well. It has a LCD display and a wheel for easy navigation. The radio includes the “Smart Random” function which gives the listener the possibility of random access to other radio stations of the same type as those most frequently listened to

Sharp announced in Japan the new ultra slim AQUOS BD-AV70 3D Blu-ray recorder/player that is just 35mm thick. The device not only supports 3D Blu-ray playback, it can also record up to 87 hours of video onto a BDXL disc.

The AQUOS BD-AV70 packs digital and analog TV tuners. It supports Full HD 1080/24p output and 3D Blu-ray content. Videos are recorded in MPEG2-TS or MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 formats. The player offers HDMI output, i.Link connector and Ethernet LAN port.

Sharp will release the AQUOS BD-AV70 on 1 December.

Epson launches the ELP-DC11, its latest desktop visualizer for easy-to-use, interactive learning. Epson introduces five new 3LCD large venue projectors in Europe market, including EB-G5600, EB-G5950, EB-G5650W, EB-G5450WU and EB-G5750WU, designed for installation in auditoriums or lecture theatres yet also suited to applications in simulations, museums, galleries and cinemas, as well as medical environments. All of them are based on 3LCD technology and features C²Fine Inorganic LCD panel, dedicated DICOM simulation mode and built-in 7w speaker.

The EB-G5600 has 4500 lumens, 1000:1 contrast ratio; the EB-G5950 has 5200 lumens and 2000:1 contrast; EB-G5650W offers 4500 lumens and 2000:1; EB-G5450WU has 4000 lumens and 1000:1; and lastly the EB-G5750WU provides 4500 lumens and 1500:1. As for resolution the EB-G5600 and EB-G5950 have XGA resolution while the EB-G5450WU and EB-G5750WU have WUXGA 1920×1200 Full HD resolution. The EB-G5650W has WXGA. These projectors all support HDMI connection.

Canon has just released in Japan the PRea AT-100 HandyTerminal devices for enterprise and professionals. Two models are offered, the AT-100P running Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional and the AT-100 with Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3.

Canon’s AT-100 HandyTerminals are powered by a TI OMAP3503 600MHz processor with 256MB SDRAM and 256MB flash memory. They feature a 3.5-inch240x320 LD display, a 2 Megapixel rear camera, Bluetooth 2.1, IrDA 1.2 SIR, GPS/A-GPS. These professional handhelds supports FeliCa as well.

In addition to WiFi, the AT-100P and AT-100 also supports HSDPA/HSUPA mobile networks. The HandyTerminals are and IP54 compliant for duat- and water-resistant and is able to surve a 1.5m fall on hard concrete. The price is 188 000 Yen (US$2320).
