Nextbook launches the Next6 Android tablet. Like its brother Next5, the Next6 also sports a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen but comes without the digital pen. The tablet runs Android 2.1. It has 4GB internal memory and a microSD/MMC card slot for expansion.

Coby USAS is going to release its 10-inch Kyros MID1024 touchscreen internet tablet. Powered by Samsun’s 1GHz S5PV210 Cortex A8 processor, the MID1024 has 4GB internal memory. It features a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1024×600 resolution and offers HDMI output allowing users to enjoy 1080p HD video in HDTV.
The Kyros MID1024 supports WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity. It is equipped with built-in speaker and microphone as well as a microSD/SDHC card slot. The tablet runs Android 2.2 OS. You can get the Kyros MID1024 at Amazon for $266.99.

Fujitsu is going to release in late June its Lifebook TH40/D sliding tablet PC. Sharing the same form factor as Samsung’s Sliding PC 7, the TH40/D has a slide-out keyboard. Powered by Intel Atom Z670 1.5GHz Oak Trail processor, the sliding Lifebook has 1GB of memory, 120GB hard drive and integrated graphics.
The Lifebook TH40/D has a 10.1-inch touchscreen. It comes with a 0.3 Megapixel webcam, a SD card slot and HDMI output. You can expect Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. The sliding tablet PC measures 274×188×17.4mm and weighs just 1.1kg. It will be available for about 80,000 Yen.
Here are leaked shots of Dell’s Streak Pro tablet running Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The Pro tablet is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra T25 dual-core 1.2GHz processor and will include 3D support. It has a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel main camera, a 2 Megapixel front camera. The Streak Pro will be available with 16GB, 32GB or 64GB storage options.
Dell is also planning to add the Stage UI to the Streak Pro. LTE 4G support will be an option. The tablet will come in blue, pink, red and black.
Pioneer Computers, the Australian company, launches adds to its DreamBook ePad line the new ePad 10 Plus Android tablet. Sporting a 1GHz ARM11 processor and 512MB RAM, the tablet runs Android 2.2 with support for Flash 10.1.
The ePad 10 Plus features a 10-inch 1024×600 touchscreen, 1.3 Megapixel webcam and 4GB storage. The device offers Ethernet port, built-in WiFi connectivity, HDMI output, USB port and microSD card slot. Friends in Australia can get one for AUD$299.
BeBook launches a new 7-inch Android tablet, the BeBook Live running Android 2.2 OS. Sporting a Samsung Cortex A8 1GHz processor, the Live has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. It features a 7-inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen and 2 Megapixel camera.
The BeBook Live supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. It offers microSD/SDHC card slot, mini HDMI port, mini USB port, built-in microphone and speakers and G-sensor. The Live tablet will be available on 21 June and is priced at $279.
Sony announced that it is developing two tablets, codenamed S1 and S2, running Android 3.0. The Sony Tablets support WiFi and 3G/4G connectivity. The S1 is a 9.4-inch tablet with an “off-center of gravity design that realizes stability and ease of grip as well as a sense of stability and lightness”. On the other hand, the S2 features two 5.5-inch touchscreens that can be folded for easy portability.
The S1 and S2 offers rich entertainment experience through Sony’s Qriocity music and video services and PlayStation Suite. The S1 can also be used as a controller for BRAVIA home entertainment devices using Infrared technology.

Elonex introduces a slim Android tablet, the eTouch Blade 3G 1043ET with a 10-inch touchscreen. Powered by a 800MHz ARM8 processor, the device gets 512MB RAM and 4GB onboard storage space. It is just 11mm thick.
The eTouch Blade 3G comes with embedded 3G movie network support and WiFi connecitity. It offers microSD/SDHC slot, and built-in speakers as well as a front-facing camera. There is also mini HDMI output for you to bring media content to HDTV easily.

HTC has announced its long-rumored dual-core Android smartphone, the Sensation which is previous known as the HTC Pyramid. The Sensation, spec-wise, is quite similar to the EVO 3D and includes some improvements. Like the EVO 3D, the Sensation is boosted by a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8260 processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense. However it gets only 768MB of RAM and 1GB internal storage, compare to 1GB RAM and 4GB storage on the EVO 3D.
The HTC Sensation features a 4.3-inch qHD 540×960 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel auto focus camera with dual LED flash and a VGA front camera, GPS support, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA and WiFi connectivity. The phone supports 1080p HD video recording and packs Gyro sensor, G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
HTC’ Sensation supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and HSPA/WCDMA networks with up to 14.4 Mbps downlink speeds. It will be available in the US market from T-Mobile USA as HTC Sensation 4G beginning this summer.
Cowon has revealed the new C2 portable media player, replacing the D2. The compact C2 gets a 2.6-inch 320×240 color LCD display, 4GB/8GB/16GB storage capacity, built-in speaker and microSD card slot. It is equipped with FM radio tuner and T-DMB tuner.

Logitech launches the Keyboard Case for iPad 2, which is basically a rebadged version of ZAGG’s ZAGGmate for iPad 2. Made of precision-cut aircraft-grade aluminum. the Keyboard Case features military-grade, high-density padding. It wraps around the iPad 2 to cover the screen and sides and offers a flexible, folding hinge that lets your to easily place the iPad 2 in portrait or landscape mode.
Logitech’s case has built-in QWERTY keyboard that uses Bluetooth connectivity to pair up with the iPad 2. The case charges over USB. It will be available in April for $99.99.

ViewSonic releases its ViewPad 10 (model VPAD10) dual-boot tablet device with both Windows 7 and Google Android OSes. The 10.1-inch tablet is powered by an Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB SSD storage.
The ViewPad 10 features a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen LCD display with LED-backlit, 1024×600 resolution and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera. It supports Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and WiFi connectivity. The tablet packs also G-Sensor, E-Compass sensor and ambient light sensor. ViewSonic is offering two models, the VPAD10_AHUS_05 with 16GB SSD and the VPAD10_APUS_05 with 32GB.
The 16GB ViewPad 10 will be priced at $599 and the 32GB model costs $679. The former gets Windows 7 Home Premium and the latter has Windows 7 Professional while both of them have Android 1.6. 16GB model is already available at Amazon.com.
BenQ releases in China its R100 tablet device. BenQ ships the device with Android 2.2, instead of the tablet-optimized Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The R100 is powered by Samsung’s S5PC100 833MHz processor, 512MB RAM and comes with 8GB internal memory. It has a 10.1-inch 1024×600 touchscreen and a 3 Megapixel camera.
The BenQ R100 supports Bluetooth and WiFi and provides HDMI output. It includes also a SD memory card slot.
Finally, Apple officially announced the iPad 2 that is lighter, thinner and faster than the original iPad. The new iPad 2 is 33% thinner and 15% lighter than the iPad. Powered by the new dual-core Apple A5 chip, the new tablet, according to Apple, is 9x faster than old version. While iPad has no cameras, Apple adds two cameras, one on the front and on on the back, to the iPad 2 for FaceTime video calling and photo shooting. The back camera can record 720p HD video at up to 30fps.
The iPad 2 comes with a 9.7-inch LED-backlit IPS multitouch display with 1024×768 resolution at 132ppi, and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. It also packs Bluetooth support, 3-axis gyro, accelerometer, digital compass and ambient light sensor. WiFi-only and WiFi+3G versions are available and the latter will be available in two models, one with UMTS/HSDPA/GSM/EDGE support and the Verizon model that supports CDMA EV-DO Rev. A data. 3G version also includes GPS/A-GPS.
With the addition of cameras, the iPad 2 comes with the iOS 4.3 with the Photo Booth app that adding effects to your photos. The iPad 2 will be available in Black and White. It will be released in the US on 11 March, and in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK on March 25.

Along with the dual-SIM V350 Android phone, ViewSonic is going to bring to the MWC 2011 the new Viewpad 10Pro professional tablet PC with dual-boot capability, offering quick switch capability between Windows 7 Professional and Google Android 2.2. As you may know, HP has acquired Palm and the company has just announced the TouchPad, the first tablet running the webOS. As a side note, HP is dropping Palm brand so we are not going to see products with Palm logo or branding. The new tablet will be released in Summer and will run webOS 3.0.
The HP TouchPad is powereod by a dual-core Qualcomm SnapDragon APQ8060 1.2GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB or 32GB internal storage.
