eMatic launches its new eGlide XL Pro 2, a 10-inch tablet running the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Powered by a 1GHz processor and a 4GHz GPU, the tablet is capable of 1080p Full HD video playback. It has 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal storage as well as a microSD card slot for up to 32GB memory card.
The 10-inch eGlide XL Pro 2 comes with a front-facing camera for video chat and supports WiFi connectivity. It comes pre-loaded with the Ematic Digital Assistant & Navigator, a virtual assistant app that uses voice-to-text technology to find out answers to every day questions such as restaurant locations, movie times. Like the Siri, you can also use it to dictate an email, a message or a tweet. The tablet offers HDMI port for bring images to a big screen. It is equipped with built-in three-axis gyroscope and an accelerometer for advanced motion sensing such as full 3D rotation.

Logitech introduces the new Solar Keyboard Folio, a slim book-style keyboard case for the new iPad third generation as well as the iPad 2. The keyboard case protects the front and back of your iPad and comes with a built-in Bluetooth keyboard that is powered by light, any light whether indoors or outdoors. The case has dye-sensitized solar cells for charging the internal rechargeable NiMh battery. According to Logitech, the battery of the keyboard lasts for up to 2 years when fully charged.
The Solar Keyboard Folio provides two stand positions – one for using the full keyboard for typing and the other for using the first keyboard row as one-touch media playback and volume controls. The Instant On/Off function automatically wakes your iPad when you open the folio and sends it to sleep when you close it. The keyboard uses Bluetooth 3.0 to connect with iPad.

Sony introduces in Europe two new compact all-in-one HiFi systems with built-in dock for iPhone, iPod and iPad. Both systems have sleek, minimalist design yet stylish design. With built-in dock, users can play music from their iOS devices easily. They are equipped with Magnetic Fluid speakers to deliver crystal-clear, distortion-free sound.

As an all-in-one HiFi, the CMT-V75BTiP and CMT-V50iP each has a built-in CD player. The former also features Bluetooth for wireless music streaming from Bluetooth-enabled devices; and DAB/DAB+ radio giving you access to digital radio station. The CMT-V50iP, on the other hand, has USB port for you to play music from USB storage devices or MP3 player and mobile phones using a USB cable.
No words yet on availability and pricing. The CMT-V75BTiP will also come in red.

B&N launches its new NOOK Simple Touch with GlowLight, which is the world’s first e-ink e-book reader with built-in lighting technology for perfect bedtime reading. The reader offers a soft, adjustable glow optimized for low light reading, and the GlowLight can be turned on instantly and adjusted easily with a touch. The devices combines e-Ink display with a precise infrared touchscreen, built-in anti-glare screen for reading in any lit environment, and an evenly distributed and adjustable light for reading in the dark.
The NOOK Simple Touch with GlowLight is the lightest NOOK reader, weighing less than 7oz. It features a 6-inch touchscreen display with 16-level grayscale and 600×800 resolution, WiFi connectivity and a microSD/SDHC card slot. Alesis introduces the new iO Mix, a 4-channel mixer / recorder for iPad. Simply slot in your iPad, it becomes a powerful portable studio with ability to record multiple mics or instruments directly into GarageBand or any other compatible Core Audio app. It has four combo XLR-1/4″ input channels, meaning you can connect virtually connect any recording gear to iPad, from microphone to speakers, to instrument and headphones. One of the channels is switchable to guitar-direct for guitar recording without an amp. It also features switchable 48V phantom power for use with studio condenser microphones

Acer introduces its new Iconia Tab A510 tablet powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor. The new 10.1-inch device will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The A510 sports the Tegra 3 Super 4-PLUS-1 quad-core processor and the 12-core GeForce GPU for enhanced performance. It has 1GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage capacity.
Acer’s A510 features a 10.1-inch 1280×800 HD capacitive touchscreen and offers enhanced sound experience with Dolby Mobile 3. Thanks to the new quad-core CPU, the tablet is capable of Full HD 1080p video playback and there is micro HDMI port for showing the video on HDTV. The new Iconia has a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera and a 1 Megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. It supports Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi and DLNA for wireless media streaming. A microSD/SDHC card slot is available for expansion.
The Olympic Games 2012 are coming this summer in London. As Acer is one of the sponsor, the Iconia Tab A510 a special Olympic Games Tablet Edition of the Acer Iconia Tab line. It comes in silver (A510-10s32) and black (A510-10k32) and is available for pre-sale now for $449.99.
