Toshiba’s AT270 is a not-yet announced tablet powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. Showed at the MWC 2012, the AT270 is a 7.7-incher with a 1280×800 AMOLED touchscreen display. No details have been announced but we can see a camera at the back, a microSD card slot, built-in speaker and a connection at the bottom that looks just like Apple’s 30-pin dock connector. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Gigabyte has built a new slate PC running Windows 7 for business and professional users, the S1081. Powered by Intel’s Atom N2800 1.86GHz Cedar Trail processor, the S1081 has 2GB/4GB of RAM and integrated Intel GMA 3600 graphics. It can be equipped with up to 256GB SSD or 500GB 5400RPM hard drive. The S1081 is the follow-up to the S1080.
The S1081 comes with a 10.1-inch 1024×600 multitouch display. It supports Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi 802.11b/g/n as well as optional 3.5G mobile network. Its HDMI and VGA video output allows you to connect to a TV or projector for presentation during business meetings. There are also USB 3.0 port, and 1.3 Megapixel webcam.
Gigabyte also brings the D1080 multimedia docking station for the S1081. Other than DVD SuperMulti burner and a range of connection ports, the D1080 packs an audio system with 2 sets of dual channel speakers and 2 sets of 40mm woofer speakers. The docking station provides D-sub, two USB ports, HDMI, Ethernet, headphones jack, mic-in and extended battery connection port.

Toshiba released its Excite 10 LE, the world’s thinnest and lightest 10-inch tablet, in the US. Also known as AT200 and Excite X10, the slim and lightweight tablet measures just 0.3 inches (7.7mm) thin and weighis just 1.18 pounds (535g). The price is $529.99 for 16GB model (AT205-T16) and $599.99 for 32GB model (AT205-T32). You can get one from Amazon.com. It comes loaded with Android 3.2 Honeycomb with future upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Excite 10 LE is powered by 1.2GHz Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 multicore mobile processor with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 10.1-inch AutoBrite IPS 1280×800 touchscreen display with 10-finger multitouch, Gorilla Glass and LED backlight. The 5 Megapixel main camera with LED flash is capable for 1080p Full HD video recording, and the 2 Megapixel front camera is ideal for video chat. It has micro HDMI port so users can show HD content on a big screen HDTV.
The Excite 10 LE supports Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi 802.11b/g/n and is equipped with Gyroscope, Accelerometer, eCompass and Ambient Light Sensor. There are also stereo speakers with sound enhancements by Toshiba and SRS Labs. MicroSD card slot is available for expansion and micro USB for charging and PC connection. The super slim tablet has built-in 25 watt-hour rechargeable lithium ion battery that provides up to 8 hours of use.

Archos launches its Archos 80 G9 Turbo ICS tablet. As its name tells, the 8-inch tablet runs Android 4.0 ICe Cream Sandwich. It is powered by a 1.5GHz OMAP multi-core processor. The ICS tablet has a 1024×768 touchscreen, a 720p camera with HD 720p video recording.
The Archos 80 G9 Turbo ICS supports Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, GPS, and WiFi connectivity and comes equipped with g-sensor, e-compass. It offers HDMI output and USB HOST port. There are 8GB and 16GB models that are priced at GBO199.98 and GBP239.99 respectively.

Finally, Apple officially announced the new iPad that packs a new powerful CPU, a new ultra high resolution display and support for 4G mobile network. While keeping the screen size at 9.7-inch, the new iPad gets a Retina Display with 2048×1536 ultra high resolution IPS multitouch touchscreen with 264ppi pixel density. It is powered by a dual-core Apple A5X SoC with quad-core graphics for enhance processing power and speed. The device will be loaded with the latest iOS 5.1.
The new iPad features a 5 Megapixel iSight camera with auto focus, IR filter, video stabilization, face detection and geotagging. The camera can record Full HD 1080p video at 30fps. The third generation iPad comes in WiFi-only model and WiFi+4G model. The latter supports LTE 700/2100MHz 4G network as well as quad-band UTMS 3G, HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. There is also a world-ready/Verizon model that adds support for CDMA EVDO Rev.A 3G network. The tablet also sports Bluetooth 4.0 with Bluetooth Smart, digital compass, Accelerometer, gyroscope. The WiFi+4G model includes also GPS/AGPS as well.
Apple’s new iPad is capable of Full HD recording and Full HD video playback and is able to streaming Full HD video to the new Apple TV 3 gen using AirPlay, and 720p AirPlay Mirroring. It comes with a built-in 42.5-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that provides up to 10 hours of web surfing on WiFi. Apple will ship the new iPad on 16 March in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, UK and the US Virgin Islands, and is now accepting pre-orders. The new iPad comes in black and white.
At the same time, Apple has lowered the price of 16GB iPad 2 for $399 for WiFi-only model, and $529 for WiFi+3G model.

Archos announced its new Child Pad, a 7-inch kid-friendly tablet running the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Designed for children, the Child Pad features a kid-friendly user interface with colored icons, home screen folders with direct access to games, entertainment, learning and puzzles; comes with 28 pre-loaded kid apps including Angry Birds, Pig Rush and Flight Frenz. Instead of ordinary Android market, the tablet access to the Kids App Store powered by AppsLib which is filtered down to 14 friendly categories and 10,000 apps including games, entertainment, communication, multimedia, books, comics, sports…etc.
The Child Pad is powered by a 1GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. It sports a 7-inch 1024×600 touchscreen. To ensure a safe tablet environment for kids and peace of mind for parents, the tablet complies with both CIPA and COPPA regulations. Parental control and safe web browsing functions are of course included.
The Archos Child Pad will be released in late-March for $129.

Along with the powerful quad-core PF100 and T98 tablets, ZTE also introduced four dual-core Android tablets – V96, V9S, V68 and V66. Both V68 and V66 support 4G LTE and CDMA mobile networks, while the V96 supports quad-band GSM/EDGE, quad-band UMTS/HSPA+ 42Mbps and 4G LTE networks, and the V9S supports only quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band UMTS/HSPA 14Mbps.
The V96 is the high-end model powered by a Qualcomm MSM8960 1.7GHz dual-core processor that will be shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The other three models all run Android 3.2 Honeycomb on Qualcomm’s dual-core 1.2GHz processor. All of them get 1GB of RAM and 16GB eMMC onboard storage. The V96, V9S and V68 feature a 10.1-inch WXGA touchscreen and the V66 is a smaller tablet with 7-inch touchscreen.
ZTE’s dual-core Android tablets all sport 5 Megapixel auto focus camera, 2 Megapixel front camera, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The V96 and V9S includes support for GPS/AGPS as well.

The new tablet is boosted by a Huawei K3 1.5GHz quad-core processor with embedded GPU, offering fast processing power, 3D graphics and the capability to drive its 10-inch 1920×1080 Full HD IPS LCD touchscreen.
The MediaPad 10 FHD sports a 8 Megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera. The quad-core tablet supports WiFi, Bluetooth as well as HSPA+ 21/42/84Mbps and LTE mobile networks.
